Luca Luppino is currently enrolled as a Master's Degree student in Archaeology at the University of Siena. He has worked on archaeological excavations in the Mediterranean context, including Vignale Riotorto in Tuscany (IT), Monforte San Giorgio in Sicily (IT) and Gortyna in Crete (GR), specializing in the Late Antique and Byzantine period. He deals with public archaeology and the application of new technologies to traditional excavation methodologies, such as the use of UAVs and 3D reconstructions.
