Amel Bouder is a specialist in Roman archaeology in North Africa. She holds a PhD in Classical Archaeology from the University of Algiers 2 and also holds a second Bachelor’s degree in Management. Her research focuses on the iconography of Roman stelae, sculpture workshops, and materiality in ancient Algeria. She is currently Global South Consolidator Fellow at the Historisches Kolleg (Institute for Advanced Study in History) in Munich.
