Shinya SHODA is Head of the International Cooperation Section at Nara National Research Institute for Cultural Properties in Japan, and an Academic Associate at the Sainsbury Institute for the Study of Japanese Arts and Cultures, UK. In 2014-16, he was awarded a Marie Curie Incoming Fellowship to conduct biomolecular archaeological research in BioArCh, University of York, UK.
