Rachel Thyrza Sparks

Rachael Thyrza Sparks gained her doctorate at the University of Sydney in 1999, before moving to the UK to take up a post as curator of the Petrie Palestinian Collection at the Institute of Archaeology. This was followed by a two-year research post at the Pitt Rivers Museum in Oxford, working with ethnographic material from the Southern Sudan, before returning to UCL where she now holds the post of Associate Professor and Keeper of the Institute of Archaeology’s Collections.
