Maurizio Battisti is archaeologist at the Rovereto Civic Museum Foundation, where he coordinates the prehistoric sector of the archaeological department. He is a specialist in alpine archaeology, with particular reference to the Bronze Age in the Adige river valley, with several publications on the topic and ongoing projects in collaboration with the Superintendence for Cultural Heritage of the Autonomous Province of Trento, the Trento Science Museum (MUSE), and the universities of Trento, Milano, Verona and Padova.
