Jorge Cano Moreno

Center of Studies of Ancient Near Eastern History (CEHAO)

Jorge Cano Moreno studied history and graduated at UCA (Prof. 2010; Lic. 2014). His research focuses on the analysis of the socio-political background of the island of Crete during the Neopalatial period (1700-1450 BCE). He investigates the different types of relationships established between the Minoan culture and the societies of the Eastern Mediterranean, focusing on the exchange of prestige goods between the elite groups.
