F. Pizzimenti holds PhD in Historical and Archaeological Sciences from the University of Bologna, currently working for the ABAP AP-FM-MC Superintendency. He conducts research in the field of classical archaeology with a focus on ancient topography and agrarian history in the Adriatic-Ionian area.
