Carrie Schidlo

Carrie Schidlo studied Classical Archaeology, Egyptology and Near Eastern Studies at the University of Göttingen after working as a pharmaceutical technical assistant. From 2014 till 2016 she was part of the Research Training Group “Early Concepts of Man and Nature” at the University of Mainz. Since 2017 she has been working at the General Medical Council of Rhineland-Palatinate. Her areas of research are the Hellenistic and Roman periods of Egypt, especially their funerary customs, as well as ancient medicine and archaeobotany. | Carrie Schidlo studierte nach ihrer Tätigkeit als Pharmazeutisch-Technische Assistentin Klassische Archäologie, Ägyptologie und Altorientalistik an der Georg-August-Universität Göttingen. Von 2014 bis 2016 war sie Doktorandin im Graduiertenkolleg „Frühe Konzepte von Mensch und Natur“ der Johannes- Gutenberg Universität Mainz. Seit 2017 ist sie in der Landesärztekammer Rheinland- Pfalz für verschiedene Aufgabengebiete zuständig.
