Carlos Tejerizo García is a Ramón y Cajal researcher at the University of Salamanca. His main research focus is the anthropology and archaeology of peasant societies over the long historical term. He is currently developing the project 'Preindustrial productive landscapes and their environmental impact: a comparative analysis between the Sierras of Guadarrama and Monfragüe,' funded by the Autonomous Agency of National Parks. Among his latest publications are 'Ciudad de la Selva. Historia e arqueoloxía da guerrilla nos montes de Casaio,' published by Edicións Positivas in 2024, and 'Cinema and Archaeology. Archaeology on the big screen,' published by Almuzara in 2023.
