Brecht Govaerts obtained a D.Phil. in Archaeology from the University of Oxford in 2022. He is an independent researcher specialized in prehistoric archaeology, theoretical archaeology, prehistoric art, continental philosophy, philosophical aesthetics, and the theory of modern/contemporary art.
