María Pastor Quiles

María Pastor Quiles is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Alicante. She pursues the archaeological study of building materials, techniques and practices, being especially focused on earth construction and the uses of mud in prehistoric societies. She works to promote the valorisation of archaeological earthen remains and to integrate approaches like microscopic analysis, ethnoarchaeology and experimental archaeology to expand our knowledge about past building practices.
