Fabio Fabiani is Professor of Classical Archaeology at the University of Pisa. He has conducted archaeological excavations in Italy, Tunisia and Turkey, and is the author/editor of more than one hundred publications (monographs, volume chapters, articles in scientific journals, conference proceedings). He is involved in multidisciplinary research aimed at the reconstruction of the ancient landscape, with an emphasis on urban planning and architecture, and geoarchaeology.
