Jamie Hampson is a Senior Lecturer in the Humanities Department at the University of Exeter. He has a PhD and MPhil in archaeology from the University of Cambridge. Prior to Exeter, he held positions at the University of Western Australia and the University of the Witwatersrand (Johannesburg). He has written more than forty articles on Indigenous rock art and heritage. His most recent book is Rock Art and Regional Identity: a Comparative Perspective (2016).
